I work where the wound actually lives — in the body, not just the story

Your Future Mentor
I chose this work because I know what it feels like to carry something no one else can see.
The people who come to me are not broken. They are intelligent, often high-functioning, holding careers and relationships together while quietly drowning inside. I know this person. I have sat with hundreds of them. And I understand, deeply, why regular therapy didn't quite reach the root.
After years of clinical work and after watching people make real, lasting change through body-based approaches that talk therapy alone couldn't create — I built my practice entirely around what actually works. Not what sounds good in theory. What genuinely shifts the pattern at the level it was formed.
I built this practice because I kept seeing the same thing — people who were smart, self-aware, had done the work, read the books, sat in therapy for years — and still couldn't shift the patterns that were keeping them stuck. Not because they hadn't tried hard enough. Because they hadn't yet worked at the right level. That's what I'm here for.
Services
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy for anyone navigating childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and patterns that keep repeating no matter how hard you try to change them. Sessions combine Somatic Experiencing with trauma-focused therapy to work with both the mind and the nervous system. I work with clients across the UAE and globally.
Group Work
A space to heal alongside others carrying similar wounds. Group work offers something individual therapy can't — the experience of being witnessed, understood, and not alone in what you've carried. Details of upcoming groups available on request.
Workshops
Focused, structured sessions on specific themes — enmeshment, nervous system regulation, attachment healing, boundary work. For people who want to understand their patterns and begin shifting them, in a contained and supported space. I work with clients globally.
Supervision for Early Career Therapists
Clinical supervision for therapists in the early stages of their practice, with a particular focus on trauma, attachment, and culturally competent care. Bringing thirteen years of clinical experience to support you in finding your footing and developing your clinical identity.
My Approach
My practice is integrative and eclectic. I draw on Somatic Experiencing, IFS-informed parts work, and trauma-focused psychotherapy, combining modalities based on what each person needs rather than applying a single framework to everyone. The approach follows the person, not the other way around.
Body-Based
Trauma doesn't just live in your story. It lives in your nervous system, in your muscles, in the patterns your body holds long after your mind has tried to move on. My work is rooted in Somatic Experiencing, which means we work with your body, not just your thoughts, to release what talk therapy alone can't reach.
Culturally Informed
The families we grow up in shape everything. How safe we feel. How we love. How we ask for help, or don't. I understand the specific wounds that come from growing up where love was conditional, boundaries were called disrespect, and your needs came last. Whatever your background, you don't have to spend sessions translating your experience. The context is already part of the work.
Trauma-Focused
Trauma changes how you see yourself, how you relate to others, and how safe your own body feels. Sessions are oriented around understanding those changes at a nervous system level. Not just managing symptoms, but shifting the patterns underneath

"Most of what you're carrying cannot be thought your way out of. Trauma doesn't live in your story. It lives in your nervous system — in the tension in your chest, in the way your body braces before you even know why. That's where the real healing happens."

WHO I WORK WITH?
The people
I am here for.
"When I see symptoms like emotional dysregulation, people pleasing, dissociation, and self-sabotage — I don't see character flaws. I see a nervous system that learned to survive. That's exactly where I begin."
The people I work with are not broken. They are intelligent, often high-functioning — holding everything together on the outside while quietly drowning inside. They have been carrying wounds that the people around them, and sometimes even other therapists, could not quite see. My work is designed specifically for them.

Their Words
Sarah D’Sa, Senior Manager, 39
My relationship with my mother had affected every area of my life, but I didn't fully realize how much until I started working with Lakshmi. She helped me understand my attachment patterns and build healthier relationships. I feel more at peace with myself than ever before.
Priya Menon, Marketing Professional, 36
I came to therapy because of anxiety, but we uncovered deeper trauma that I had been carrying for years. Lakshmi helped me process it at a pace that felt safe. Today, I feel more grounded and equipped to manage my anxiety.
Rahul Sharma, Finance Professional, 40
I had always pushed through stress and anxiety without understanding where it came from. Therapy helped me connect the dots between my past experiences and my current struggles. I feel calmer, more self-aware, and more present in my relationships.
